California Supreme Court Rules 'Made in the USA Matters' More than ten years ago, Joel D. Joseph, General Counsel to Made in the USA Foundation, filed suit against Kwikset Lock Company for labeling their products 'Made in the USA' after Kwikset moved its factory from Anaheim, California to Mexicali, Mexico. Finally, today, the California Supreme Court ruled that consumers of these locks have the right to sue manufacturers under California law for the mislabeled products that they purchased.
Congratulations to Made in the USA Chairman Joel D. Joseph, who was recently honored by the Los Angeles Business Journal - LABusinessJournal.com. Joel received the award for Non-profit Corporate Counsel for his many years of advocacy on behalf of American businesses and manufacturing interests.

USA Hall of Fame - July 2 2012
Our 2011 awards dinner was a huge success! Our USA Hall of Fame Awards Dinner was hosted at the sophisticated Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel and featured Made in the USA cocktails, a delicious dinner, and Made USA gift bags at the end of the night. The event is focused on honoring those companies who have been outstanding in serving this country through manufacturing in the USA and upholding standards that keep manufacturing strong. Each year we nominate manufacturers in several categories, winners are selected based on our Hall of Fame Criteria, and awarded during the event dinner.
